About Us

We are a group of highly trained wound care specialists in Florida who provide exceptional wound care and dermatological services to LTACs, nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, assisted living facilities, and private residences. We offer an exceptional patient-centered and outcome-oriented program that focuses on the quality of life and quality of care.

How much does your service cost?

We provide financial savings for the patient and the facility. Our highly trained insurance experts will check the insurance prior to seeing our patients, so there are no surprise bills. We bill Medicare Part B, all PPOs, and some HMOs. Patients will have their standard copay and deductibles.

For ALFs, SNFs, and rehabs, there is no fee for our services. We provide services under the “physician services” category. There’s no need to transport your patients to and from appointments. There’s no need for families to pay an aide/attendant to accompany their loved ones or cover transportation costs. It’s premium medical care at your fingertips!

For SNFs/Rehabs,

There is no cost for our services, and we strive to minimize costs for facilities, saving over $85,000 per year for a 100-bed facility. Additionally, our services do not impact consolidated billing for the facility. All services provided fall under the category of “physician services,” which is completely exempt from consolidated billing as Medicare Part B covers them. Please refer to section 4432(b) of the Balanced Budget Act of 1997 (BBA, P.L. 105-33) for further details. The original list of exclusions can be found in section 1888(2)(ii) of the Act. It is important to note that with improved physician evaluation frequency, higher RUG levels can be achieved.

What is the most concerning skin condition to treat?

Probably the most concerning condition is skin cancer. In this case, an earlier diagnosis leads to better outcomes.   Our providers do regular skin checks on patients which can be a great benefit for early diagnosis. We stay with you every step of the way! From diagnosis, to receiving the correct treatment, to healing, to recovery. We stay on board and help to guide you through this process.

What can I expect?

Your provider starts by getting to know you as the patient. You will always receive a friendly, expert, professional visit from us. We will educate you on your wound or dermatologic condition, give real time updates on the prognosis and provide medically relevant recommendations on how to improve your overall healing process. We also stay abreast of the latest emerging treatment for our patients while keeping cost effectiveness in mind. This is one thing that makes us the best wound care Florida has to offer.

Our main focus when treating skin conditions

It is ultimately about healing, providing comfort and relief for the patient to ensure a quality of life that remains high. Skin conditions can be paired with a number of unwanted side effects like itchiness, discomfort, and tension. Therefore, seeking an expertly trained provider is imperative to effectively treat these side effects as they appear.
