Carly Burke, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC

Biography

Carly is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who specializes in Wound Care and Dermatology. She was born and raised in Florida, and after a brief time in California she realized that Florida is where she belonged.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Central Florida and worked as a relief charge nurse, ultrasound IV specialist, and preceptor for new nurses. She then spent 10 years working in the emergency room then went on to Oncology which would be life changing

Carly strives to put a personal touch on getting to know her patients. During her time in Oncology, her patient relationships grew closer, and this motivated her to go back to school to pursue her Master of Science in Nursing from South University. Her personal strengths are trustworthiness and reliability. It is important to find a provider who is trustworthy and reliable, ensuring that they are dependable and will prioritize their patients’ needs.

Carly enjoys recognizing patient problems. She is dedicated to finding solutions through research and then implements a plan of care for patients where she can ultimately ensure that the problem is resolved. She is a member of the Volusia/Flagler advanced practice nursing council and participates annually in the Me Strong Run, which raises money for Cancer Research. Her life philosophy is “find what inspires you, motivates you and always trust your gut.”
