To Our Valued Facilities,

We have received a growing number of inquiries regarding how House Call M.D.’s Skin and Wound Care is responding to the growing threat of Coronavirus (COVID-19).

Shortly after the COVID-19 outbreak occurred in China, the Company engaged its Crisis Management Committee and began implementing the provisions of an established Pandemic Response Plan that is part of our overall Business Continuity Plan.

We know everyone is concerned about the COVID-19 outbreak, and the impacts the virus may have on our daily lives. We take the health and safety of our residents very seriously.

As such, we are taking precautions to do pour part in mitigating the spread of COVID-19. Here are things we want you to know.

House Call M.D.’s Skin and Wound Care is open for business, and we are confident and support our facilities to maintain safe practices. Keep in mind that we are medical providers. We offer primary care services as well.

We are going to offer telemedicine services to residents if needed during the COVID-19 pandemic. This applies to Wound Care, Dermatology, and Primary Care (if needed). Residents will need to sign a telemedicine consent form.

We have authorized Company management to engage in certain prevention and response measures, which include monitoring risks, travel and facility access, and personal protective equipment. More specifically:

  1. We are being extra vigilant with maintaining a sanitary environment in our facilities and ensuring our staff have what they need to stay healthy. In addition to frequent hand sanitizing and handwashing practices (a great practice all the time, not just during an outbreak!), we have provided our staff with gloves, as well as gowns and N-95 masks to wear as an extra level of protection if applicable.

  2. We have screened our providers and wound care technicians. We are proud to say that our clinical team has not been out of the country for travel or have been in contact with anyone who has traveled internationally.

  3. We have implemented social distancing. Our administrative and clinical team will be working from home until the COVID-19 has been controlled.

Taking care of our staff has always been a priority for us. House Call M.D.’s Skin and Wound Care staff are provided with comprehensive medical insurance and paid time off. We are not expecting extended interruptions to business but are prepared for the possibility.

We are monitoring the situation and taking guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and the World Health Organization as more information becomes available.

We appreciate your understanding as this situation evolves. We must all do our part to keep ourselves, our families, and our communities healthy; and we sincerely hope everyone is able to resume their normal lives soon.

We will get through this together!
