Keila Pimentel is certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) that specializes in Wound Care and Dermatology. Originally from Florida, she chose to stay close to her family while pursuing her career.

Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Keila worked in the Emergency Department for eight years, where she gained valuable experience, particularly during the Covid-19 pandemic, navigating challenges with limited resources. She then decided to purse her advanced degree and become a Nurse Practitioner. Keila earned her ASN from Seminole State College in 2016, her BSN from the University of Central Florida (UCF) in 2017, and her MSN as an FNP from the University of South Florida.

One if her strengths is empathy and compassion. A provider should genuinely care for patients and express understanding towards their physical and emotional well-being. Another strength is professionalism and integrity. Providers should act professionally, ethically, and maintain confidentiality while treating patients.

Keila is dedicated to compassionate, patient-centered care. She builds strong relationships with patients by prioritizing their physical and emotional well-being. Her expertise in emergency medicine is complemented by her passion for learning and adapting to advances in medical knowledge.
